Meaning: 1516 the author Thomas Morus describes a perfect society far far away, called Utopia. Dystopia is the complete opposite, a run-down, destroyed and sub-ideal world. Our lyrics symbolize these “Letters from Dystopia” . Misanthropic they describe the downfall of humanity.


Our genre can be described as Melodic Deathcore. Brutal drums, jumps between melodic, fast and raw riffs. A sound rich in massive Breakdowns, a jazzy Bass and two brute vocalists whose repertoire reaches from low growls, over strong shouts to high screams.

History:

In November 2012 six guys from Neumarkt and its surrounding area came together to form “Letters From Dystopia”(LFD). Due to the lack of a proper practice-room, it took till March 2013 to start practising. Since May 2013 LFD played a couple of shows in and out of Nuremberg and planed some gigs all over Bavaria soon.
